Earlier this year, I managed a visit to the new location of Gear in San Diego (they also have a location in Palm Springs!). They carry many top merch brands such as Fort Troff, Cellblock 13, Mr. S, and more. As the name states, underwear and harnesses are their main inventory, but other gear (bondage equipment, gags, and the like) are also available. When I visited, it had only been in it’s new location for just over a month, so they didn’t yet have a permanent sign installed yet. Interestingly, they share their space with a local candy store, so you can get your sweet on as well!

Located just a block away from the Hillcrest area, which is noted as the main gay drag. Also nearby is Humanity!, another store that has even more underwear and jocks! BoundTaylor recommends it, as you can see below. Pic of store is not mine, but from Yelp.
