In my early twenties, when I was still exploring my sexuality, one of the first places I turned to was comics. There was a series of gay male comics called Meatmen. I acquired the three issues seen below. I always found the cover on the far right the hottest.
I honestly can’t even remember where or how I purchased them. This was well before the internet, so I suspect I may have ordered them by mail.
Many of the comics were of the humorous, slice of life type story. But about half of them were basically adult content, including some Tom of Finland. I’m posting a few of the images from some of the stories that really resonated with me as a young adult. They’re all taken out of context from different stories… one was a typical jock/coach/team/locker room situation, one a gay superhero, and handsome prince captured by an evil villain. That last one (first in the pics) really appealed to my sense of peril and power dynamics… not to mention the foot on our hero’s face. And the one pic of slurping up balls turns me on even now.
