For those who don’t know, Bats Day is an annual “unofficial” event at Disneyland where 1,000s of Goths descend on the Happiest Place on Earth. As you can imagine, it’s quite a sight. I’ve always wanted to go, and have never been able to, until this year! I’m not really a Goth myself, but I do have a few killer outfits, because I used to have a lot of Goth friends, and would go clubbing at Goth clubs semi-frequently (they have the best dancing to express yourself to!). So I proceeded to dust off my garments, and have a day out. Naturally, as has turned out to be a tradition, it was roasting hot outside that day. But sometimes you have to sacrifice for fashion.
Unfortunately, it’s back to work for me starting this week, with meetings and night classes. Well, the summer was good while it lasted. But before it ends, I’m working hard on one more website surprise… I don’t know if it’ll work out, but I’m going to give it a try… and you’ll hear it here if it’s successful.
