First off, there’s an update for the site. Just a small one. It doesn’t look like much (although there is a new gallery, separate from the one you can vote on), but for some reason, it gave me a lot of technical problems. Still don’t think I got ’em all, but it’s good enough for now.
Stopped by Magic Mountain today, a local amusement park for those of you not in SoCal. (Amusement parks are basically open year-round here–ain’t it great?) I went primarily to renew my annual pass, but riding is always good too. However, the following attractions were closed:
- X
- Revolution
- Ninja
- Deja Vu
- Psyclone
- FreeFall
- Tidal Wave
- Skytower
- Flashback
- Circus Wheel
- Spin Out
- Jet Stream
That’s, like, over half the park. Granted, a few of the rides I mentioned are somewhat smallish spinny rides, not major roller coasters, but still. To their credit, I noticed that they did open X and Psyclone as I was leaving. I can (and will) come back, so it’s not a big deal to me. But I sure feel bad for those who paid full price for a half-open park.
