If you haven’t noticed, lately a few blogs have been getting shut down due to Terms of Service (TOS) violations, including one of my personal faves, Barefootmale’s Edging Blog. I can only wonder how much other blogs may suddenly disappear, perhaps even this one! If it ever did, I’m pretty certain that I’d try to get another one somewhere else, and you check my main website for updates. But it just seems strange that so many blogs appear to be under review at the same time.
IMO, many of the blogs being shut down don’t appear to be doing anything worse than other blogs that are still up and running… but maybe they haven’t gotten to them yet? Is it a copyright thing, an “adult content” thing, or what? Anyone else know more, or have any insight?
On a whole ‘nother note, I’ve lately been working with Josh (a former twink crush of mine) on a project. Long story short, I just discovered that he’s in an abusive relationship. While there is no good side to this sort of thing, at least it does seem the abusive is very infrequent. But it’s also easy to argue that any physical abuse is too much. I want to help, but I sort of feel my capacities are limited. It’s put me in a very confused place in figuring how to interact with him, as of course I want to help him, but I’m not sure the best way to go about it without having him retreat. This one may be awhile before it fully plays out.
