Posted this a while back, thanks to another reader of this blog. If you don’t recall, it made a case for kink being something innate and perhaps unchangeable, and not just a mere “interest”.

Thank you for the post and the link to the article. I am absolutely convinced that for many kink is an orientation that you are born with. I am one of them and know others. My earliest memories of my fascination with bondage and feet go back to four years old and have never left me despite my having tried to suppress my feelings for years lead a “normal” life. If anything the feelings have gotten stronger and I am now 56. I have come to terms with my desires and love to talk with other like minded people, especially those who have also been born this way. It is very affirming to know you are not the only one like this out there.

That’s great to hear! I wholeheartedly agree.
In other news, I’m going to be doing a lot of traveling for the next 3-4 weeks. I’m trying to set up posts to go up while I’m gone, but if the blog does go quiet for a few days, you’ll know I didn’t get to it. But I promise I’ll return to posting as soon as I can. It’s going to be a busy summer for me! With some luck, maybe a few meet ups or two.
