October is my favorite time of the year! I’m absolutely in love with all the haunted house events that happen, and I’m very lucky to be in Los Angeles, where there are a lot of them to choose from.
This year I’ve been to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, Knott’s Scary Farm, and I also managed to do Creep, which is sort of an unsettling interactive horror play in which you enter in just groups of eight. (There’s a bit of a review of it here if you want to know more without spoilers.) You get very interactive with the performers… they talk to you, touch you, and occasionally pull you away from the rest of your group. And like last year, I’m also doing Alone (which lives up to it’s name… you actually do it by yourself!), which actually happened just last night. That one is more psychological and surreal that graphic and horrific, but I also love that sort of stuff as well.
One of the reasons I love these haunts is the scenes of (admittedly gory) bondage that often is inside them. What follows are some of my favorite pics I’ve taken inside mazes at haunt events. They are a bit graphic, but also have a kinky edge to them as well.
This final pic is not from a haunt, but the comic book version of Hellraiser. But I’ve always like the image, and it fits the theme, so I thought I’d include it.
Hope you have a Happy Halloween!
