I’ve always wanted to do this, and finally got around to it: I made my own pair of torture flip flops. I hot glued some bottle caps in strategic places. Very cheap flip flops can be bought from Old Navy.
I have used bottle caps before, but just had a sub stand on them. They moved around way too much, and was too difficult to control their placement. This seemed better.
While I haven’t tried them on a sub (yet), I have tried them on myself, and they work great. I did get the flops a size big for me, as I have small feet, so I wanted them to still fit on other subs.
