I do enjoy these; I’ve posted a few before here, here, and here. It’s such an interesting look at gay history. And I’ve actually even read a few! See my reviews of Locker Room Lovers, Bound for Pleasure, the shockingly good and relatively literary Meat, and my favorite title & cover (though honestly not my favorite story), Adventures of a High School Hunk. While many are not much more than direct porn, a few actually have a surprising amount of plot. In fact, I’m really looking for a book called Teacher In Chains, by Kyle Reich (pictured at the bottom of the post), author of the aforementioned Meat. If anyone has it or finds it, please let me know! I’d love to have it!
This first cover is pretty great for obvious reasons. And I do realize that The Hardy Boys is not really gay pulp, but it’s of interest for obvious reasons here. And The Daemon… come on, that looks pretty fantastic.
