Lately, all of California has been in the news due to all the fires, smoke, and extreme weather. Personally, I think Northern California has had it rougher (see the tweet below from TapedandTortured… he did not use any filters in those pics), but the smoke hasn’t been great in Los Angeles either. In fact, I can smell smoke while inside my office at work, even with all the doors and windows closed.
Between this and how lives have continued to be upended for Covid and the poor handling of it by our elected officials (whom I personally despise), it’s been quite the year.
In terms of just my husband and myself, I overall count ourselves as relatively lucky. We’re still employed, and we have each other for emotional support, company, and sex. We’re not straining financially, and that’s more than I can say for a lot of people. I do feel for some of my single friends, who are also happening to take care of older family members–it’s definitely a strain for them, but at least they’re still employed, so that’s some comfort. And luckily, all our families are doing relatively well.
In terms of meeting up guys for scenes… well, I still have my profile on Recon hidden. Personally, I can’t really see myself meeting up with anyone for a scene for the rest of the year. My last scene (outside my husband) was around late February. Suffice to say this is the longest I’ve gone without playing with anyone.
But I do have a medical condition that puts me in a slightly higher risk group for Covid, not to mention the fact that if I get, I’m most certainly giving it to my husband. It’s a risk I’d rather not take. At best, I’d maybe consider a scene in the distant future if clothes stayed on and there wasn’t any oral or anal contact. Just clothed bondage, and maybe some feet sniffing. I could tease with a Hitachi wand over clothing/underwear, but I really wouldn’t do more than that.
All the updates of my work that have been going up here all took place months, and maybe even a year ago. It’s probably still enough to last me for almost the rest of the year. Once they’re used up, I’ll likely be trying to repost old scenes. I’ve been at this for nearly 10 years, so it’s doubtful you’ve seen all my work. 🙂
I also won’t say that I’ve been stagnant in kink gear. We’ve been playing with a few new DIY bondage items, and I still have one big item in the works. One could say I’m taking this time to prepare for more options for both myself and possible subs.
