Honestly, it’s a bit disturbing how much vintage gay porn preys on underage boys. I can only imagine that in such times, the topic of gay sexuality was so forbidden, crossing another boundary may not have been viewed as so forbidden when gay sex itself was already viewed taboo.
We’ve come a long way since then, and while I do find these books disturbing and wholly inappropriate by today’s standards, it’s an interesting look at a time capsule of where standards may have been at that time.
