Just a bit of history, fellas. Leather Fraternity was/is a gay male kinky organization. A while ago on eBay, someone was selling a copy of their old application form. I don’t know the exact date, but based on the format, typeface, and the fact it had to be mailed in (and that they ask for your “Astrological sign”–near the top of the first page)… probably from the 70s or 80s? If anyone knows more of the history of it, please share!
Also a bit discouraging is that as detailed as they seemed to try to make it, not a single mention of feet fetish,–et scat play gets a mention. I do find it amusing the bottom of the final page lists the PO Box city as La Crescenta… that’s maybe a 15 minute drive from where I currently live in Los Angeles.
To a certain degree, some of this hasn’t changed. But I think it since this was made, a lot more has evolved by today’s standards, where items such as feet, rubber, lycra, sports gear, and hero play are now commonplace, where they don’t even seem to garner much of a mention then. But at the time, they probably weren’t as prolific, either.
Seems to be a pretty classic example of “old guard”, for better or worse depending on your point of view. One side of me appreciates the level of detail they went through, while another side of me says this is pretty over the top for just an application form.
