Ran into this book on an eBay listing. Wish I had more pics, but the content looks fascinating! Interesting glimpse into the cruising life of 1964. I was about to make a bid, but the book was abruptly pulled from bidding. I have some suspicions why at the below.

So after doing a bit more informal research on google, this may actually be a pretty historically significant book. Apparently, this book is archived at Yale University Library! There’s a link here, although it’s not exactly clear to me how you can get a download of the book.

But never fear! I found a free fully scanned version pdf file version at the houstonlgbthistory.org site. You can read and download the full book here.

In any case, I suspect this book may be pretty important, and figure the eBay seller may have realized it as well, because the book was abruptly pulled well before the final auction date. I since found one copy on Etsy… for $475! The eBay one I first spotted was priced at around $30. So I think the seller may have realized they had a pretty rare, valuable book. But if it comes up again, I’ll try to grab it right away! Although maybe not for $475, lol.
