I had been eying these for a long time on Etsy (where there’s actually quite a bit of interesting bondage gear and furniture available), and I finally dove in and got one. Good thing, I apparently got the last one, and the vendor is no longer making them.
I haven’t yet tried them out on a sub (update… I have since I wrote this post, more to come later, haha), but I had to try them on myself first, and it’s pretty good! I think if they were combined with ankle restraints and/or rope or stocks, they’d make things pretty immobile (by themselves, there’s still a lot of ankle movement possible).
While as hot as this is, as you can see, it does restrict some access the underside of the toes and ball of the foot. So I did try it “flipped over”, so that the toes would be more exposed.
While this is definitely a better soles and toes view, the bondage isn’t as secure… you see, the board is obviously flat. But the tops of most feet along the toes angle downward. This means that it’s a bit less comfortable, and the toes at the far ends of the board may not be as secure. That’s something I’d have to experiment on a bit more with an actual sub.
It should also be noted that this could also be used for some hand/finger bondage, something else to try later on! Let’s look forward to seeing this on some of my future scenes.
