While I’m familiar with the Sk8tr Boy brand socks (and have a few pairs of my own… they are now available at the Mr. S website), I had seen these around as well, and wasn’t as sure where they were from. Social media pointed out they are from Gear Berlin. So of course I had to order some!
They come in many colors. I got a white pair with a purple band, and a black pair… as I really don’t have any smelly black socks! So I’ll look forward to working those up into a stench in the future.
They also sent a lot of very hot stickers! Not sure where I’ll put them yet, but it was a nice surprise!
The socks only come in one size, and since I have feet a bit on the small side (size-wise… although not stench-wise, lol), but they fit pretty well. And they’re very comfortable!
Now, in full disclosure, I have to confess to a goof. While I was taking the white pair of socks out of the packaging, I foolishly used scissors rather carelessly, and I accidentally cut a hole in the side of the white pair before I could even get them on. A semi-large hole, about the size of a dime.
Can’t blame anyone but myself here, but I think I may order another more pair. While I don’t necessarily mind socks with holes in them, I’d rather have it happen due to wear, and not a dumb slip of the scissors on my end. Plus, the hole would have been at the side of my ankle, and not the sole.
Fortunately, the black pair is fine. Once that pair gets a bit of a stench going, I may order another pair of the white/purple… and be more careful when I take them out of the packaging.
