A reminisce about Bound & Gagged Magazine, Part 2

Opening the cover, the majority of a typical issue was about 80% or more a mix of drawing, photography, and stories of bondage scenes, most of which seemed to be real life bondage stories sent from readers (though I’m sure a few were fantasies as well). A typical example is below… and who doesn’t like a tied up baseball player?

There was also a segment called Roger Roper’s Video Bondage, which would break down where you could find scenes of bondage in current movies, so you would know what to rent at the video store (this was in the same era, and well before the internet!). This sample page below mentions the famous bondage scenes from Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

I also recall a series I believe called “Bond Aid”, which talked about bondage safety. While I don’t think I thought about it much then (at the time, this was nearly all purely fantasy for me), I appreciate it a lot more now.

Even the ads were sexy, as many advertised fetish content… mostly phone number you could call (a very big thing at the time!), and fetish videos you could order. I would not call these numbers now, lol.

Last but not least (in my memory) were bondage personal ads. Again, this was well before the internet, so guys would place ads here so they could meet other kinky guys. I never placed nor answered an ad from here, but I did ultimately put one personals ad in a local newspaper seeking “discreet adventure” that did end up to my first major sexual fuck buddy relationship. You can read more about that here.

In my final segment, I’ll dive deeper into some of the drawing and photos that really got me off from these magazines.
