Well, since both of us had to work, we decided to only have a simple dinner out, and to not get each other any gifts, cards, candy, flowers, etc. The latter was mostly due to the fact that we’ve been spending a lot of money anyway, partially due to the fact that we’re still paying off the Walt Disney World trip from December, and also because I had been so busy with work, I just had not time to get anything.
Despite that, Sam did get me a stuffed animal and card. It was very sweet, although I regret to say that I held my end of the bargain. But he was fine with it, as he knew how busy I had been with work over the weekend. So understanding!
We had dinner at a restaurant called Cube, which is known for it’s fine cheeses. I love cheese, so I had been wanting to go here for a while. Sam is not a big fan of cheese, but even he liked their selection quite a bit… so that was pretty remarkable! We had a really great time.
