This is a direct quote from Scott’s Male Feet & Edging Blog (his new one, since his old one was taken down):

“Commercial Pornography: We do not allow content that exists for the primary purpose of monetizing porn content or driving traffic to a monetized pornography site.”
So It looks like any blog that posts photos from a commercial porn site is “driving traffic to a monetized pornography site” since the name of the website is usually on the pic. Unfortunately, removing the name of the website from the pic is a violation of the copyright of the porn site, so that is not an option.
Tons of blogs have fallen victim to this new policy, and many more will in the coming weeks. Am I disappointed? Sure. Am I upset with Google? No. This is a free service and it is totally up to them what to allow and not to allow.”
I couldn’t have said it better myself. So far, this blog has escaped, but judging from how many blogs have been taken down already, I figure it’s just a matter of time. If anyone has any ideas for a new, free, gay/adult friendly blog host, ideas are welcome! If not, I’d probably continue on blogspot under another name, and just would be more careful about the pics I’d post… which is sort of a bummer, as you can imagine.
I do plan on continuing this blog until it’s shut down… but just in case, if you have any pics you like, you’d better save them now! Also, keep in mind that I have my own “blog favorites” style gallery at my website, under the “Net Gallery” page. And check there as well for future blog plans, if it comes to that.
