So I can’t lie, I’ve been wanting this for a long time.  And it actually got to happen this past summer.  (I know, it’s taken me forever to post it.  Punish me later.)  Let me tell you, it was worth it.  It was fascinating to watch and experience his technique, and if you can, I recommend it.  However, he doesn’t just mummify anybody.  He does generally prefer getting to know you first.  Fortunately, I had chatted with him a few times before, and had one scene with him before, posted to my Captured Heroes blog.

By the way, the main process took about 20 minutes, which seemed very fast to me, especially considering how encasing it is.  Another surprise to me is that there was no give laterally… sometimes when mummified, if you twist around, you have some give.  Not this time.  It was like I was in a cast.  He does have a secret trick to accomplish this, but it isn’t mine to give, so you’ll just have to talk with him.

I also had no idea what sort of design he was putting on the outside at the time.  I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it after the fact.

More to this set later, which will be in three parts–so it’ll take you into the New Year!  So stay tuned and stay hard all until 2016!
