It’s always nice to have a variety of implements. An assortment of crops, canes, belts, and rulers/sticks are always welcome. But I wanted something with a spikey feel.

I already happened to have this set of an “Acupressure Mat and Pillow Set” I initially bought it as a variation of some barefoot torture, and making a slave stand or kneel on it. (You could also use it for its intended purpose, to promote blood circulation). It’s full o plastic spikes that are sharp, but not so sharp as to be dangerous.

I wasn’t really using the pillow, though. And I was able to remove the fabric on it, with the spiked circles glued to the fabric. I cut some out, and then glued that to a wooden ladle for a fun new, self-made basintado device.

I do realize you can purchase spiked paddles, but many of the ones I see are either way too sharp and pointed, or not sharp enough. This strikes me (no pun intended, lol) as a good compromise.

Recently, my husband tried this out on me, and it can pack a pretty decent sensation. It doesn’t take much before it’s quite intense, but I wasn’t really complaining. It’ll be great the next time I get a slave in my Foot Stocks.

  1. You can order the spikey disks much cheaper, not attached to anything, and use them however you want. Spiked insoles or flip flops, fixed to standing boards, whatever you can imagine!

The first link is to the spikes, the rest are to how I use them both on myself and others.

Very effective for ongoing foot torture, and increasing sole sensitivity to tickling, roasting, bastinado, or just to leave sore bare soles behind!

    1. That’s great to know! I may post an update that in the future, using your links if that’s okay?
Also, do you use any particular sort of glue to attach them (especially for the flip flops)?
