So by the time you have read this, I will have deleted my partner blog of just over 17 years, Captured Heroes. While I am a bit sad about it, it was also time.
That blog began as an off-shoot of this one. At the time (17 years ago!), I had discovered the wonders of lycra and hero roleplay, and I was so intrigued I quickly began a spin off blog that focused on heroes, lycra, rubber, and later expanded to sports, jocks, wetsuits, and underwear. All very sexy stuff indeed! Some of my very early posts here mention me starting CapturedHeroes.
However, the vast majority of it was found content. In the earlier days of kink blogging, that was perfectly acceptable. There were no social media accounts then, and everybody was sharing pics with each other, and I became a collector and a reposter of them. When I would post a lot from a single person, I would often try to get credit, but obviously I didn’t have time to track down every single owner of every single pic (which would be an impossible task).
In today’s day and age of copyright issues, social media accounts, and more, it wasn’t really practical. Times have changed. Perhaps surprisingly, I’m not too sad… I’ve saved some of my favorite pics for my own personal enjoyment, so I’m not losing too much for myself. And the number of copyright issues I was running into was discouraging, so I’ll be glad to be clear of that. What I am sad about is I don’t get to share this passion with others as directly anymore.
I will still try to post my own hero related content here, and I have already received blanket permission from @Boyryan54, who has allowed me to continue to post his stuff, and he has a fair share of lycra and rubber content. I also acquired permission from @gaycomicgeek as well as @pupkrypto (mostly superman content), so it will still show up from time to time! And I do have a fair share of my own hero content, just search the “superhero” category.
I posted this already on my Bluesky social account, but I have to thank both @spidy84m (Twitter) and @Boyryan54 (Bluesky, but also on Twitter) for allowing me to use their pics as header images on that blog for years–I had gained their permission for that a long time ago.
I appreciate all the support! I will still be around on this blog, posting my own content, thoughts, and content from people who have given me permission. I am also continuously deleting content from the back end of found content here. Because there’s so much, it will take some time before it seems noticeable (likely months), but slowly the found content will be disappearing, so explore as much as you can now.
