It’s very odd for me to finally see Captured Heroes gone. I did put a lot of work into that blog, and I did love sharing it. I’m proud I stayed with it for so long. But given it was nearly all entirely found content, it just wasn’t feasible to get permission for every single pic… especially when nowadays, some pics have been circulated so long, the original poster may be entirely unknown.
As for here, I continue to reach out to people and get permission from content creators who are open to having their work posted here. In time, I will open it up to anyone who wants to reach out to me to get their content posted here, but I would want it to be your own work, not found work of others.
Also, to post new the content, I had to start deleting some of the older content to make room on the server. Apparently, once I deleted Captured Heroes, my storage space went down. It’s fine, because I will be deleting a lot of it over time, but I had to start deleting some things early to make room. So if you find any broken links or missing pictures/videos, even of more recent posts, that will be why. I am keeping up all of my own, original content.
Since I won’t have enough material to post daily, I think I’ve settled on this so far:
- Sunday: Pics of me, thoughts, updates, reviews, etc.
- Wednesday: Gay pulp content. There’s plenty of it, I’m interested in it, and since the content is quite dated, I doubt there will be many issues posting that (although should there be, I’m prepared to remove it). I may also post other topics, such as tips and ideas.
- Friday: Guest content from people I received permission to post
- Saturday: my original scenes with other subs
That’s still a fair amount of content! As I continue to move in this new direction, it could be subject to change, but we’ll try it for now.
And with the blog going through yet another transition, I think I may look into changing the look a bit. I used to change the layout relatively frequently, but I’ve been with this one for quite a while. May be time for a new appearance. So keep your eyes peeled!
