Update: First posted in March 2023, there is a larger version of this board that I feel is even better, because it can very nearly fit a full size person lying on it. But it is heavier and a bit bulkier to store. I do think it’s worth it if you can. However, this smaller version is still very useful. More details about the larger version at the end of the post.
I’ve been speaking with a number of people who have shown interest in my Bondage Board. At the time, I bought it from eXtreme Restraints, but I’ve since seen it in many locations, including Amazon and Etsy. Below are just some of the uses I’ve found for it. The straps are actually Bondage Belts from Mr. S, which coincidentally perfectly fit the rings, and makes for a surprisingly secure “mummification”. I should know, I’m the victim in the first pic!
The pics below are not mine, but are positions I think could be replicated using the bondage board. If I ever get a slave flexible enough to accomplish the last two positions, that’d be so hot!
All in all, I’ve found it a pretty good investment, especially as how I usually end up doing scenes at hotels, which don’t always have a lot of tie down points. It’s coming in way more handy than I expect it to, and it folds up and travels pretty easily (it does come with a carrying handle).
UPDATE: I have also recently found an “XL” version of this board, and overall, I like it even better. When fully unfolded, you can nearly fit the full lenth of the body, while the board above covers just over half the body. Both boards are of similar quality, though the padding on the large one seems a bit thicker. Obviously, the longer board is more expensive, heavier to carry (but it does still have carrying handles, and a strap to keep to together when folded up), and bulkier to store and carry. When folded up, it’s probably about the size of a standard sized rolling suitcase, though a bit longer.
I do now prefer this version, but your mileage may vary. I certainly used the smaller one a lot, and had a great time with it. The smaller one is easier to carry and store, and more affordable. I think it all depends on how much you’d use something like this. I do a lot of meets in local hotels, which can have limited restraint opportunities, and I can easily put either one in my car. It could be a hassle to fly with this, you’d probably have to fill an entire bag with one (if it would even fiit), so that may not be worth it.
Below are some of my personal experiences with the longer board, so you can see for yourself the difference. As you can see, it fits the body of most guys, with just the head not fitting (you could also have the feet stick out a bit instead).
In the final pic above, I folded it half at a 90 degree angle for even more versatility… though the back would have to be braced against something, or else it would fold in half (which is why I had it leaned against the bed). It was technically folded backwards/up-side down, which is why you don’t see the ring going down the side (and I used the carrying handles for bondage attachment points), but it still worked fine. The bondage belts fit perfectly, but that was a separate purchase.
